I remember my first post for IAWT like it was just yesterday. Having written a Listen Up piece on the Baltimore-born LoS, the dude has a special place in my heart, no homo. While GMAD is just now starting to get hip to the dude (typical), we here at IAWT have been hip to the dude for a while now. The dude has so much potential as a lyricist and his flow is nothing short of intricate, but for some reason it has yet to translate into increased recognition for LoS. Yes, his best work has been over some recycled remix beats, but that doesn’t discredit his ability to spit bars. Will a feature from Mr. Vizzy himself, XV, help gain recognition and legitimacy? We’ll have to see, but I’m definitely in LoS’s corner on this one.
